But, it also did very well across the globe. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago consolidated her previous successes, propelling her into superstardom. The popularity of Swift only grew with her following three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017) which saw her move into the realm of pop where she already belonged. However, even when she reduced her style with the 2020's stripped-down sibling releases folklore and Evermore she remained atop the charts, a place she maintained with re-recordings of her older catalogs as well as Midnights which was her top-charting synthesizer 2022 album.
