Ariel was born 14 December 1987 in the town of Unalakleet America, to Jim Tweto and Freno Tweto. At birth she was given the name of Ariel Eva Tuadraq-Atauchaq Tweto. Her sister is Alya Tweto. Her parents met when her dad was at work in Alaska as a professional player of hockey trying to create interest for the sport. The father of the bride fell in love and got married to her mother. Later, they founded Era Alaska, aka the Era Alaska aviation company. Ariel and Alya had their childhood at Nome Census Alaska. There she studied at Emerson College and then graduated in communication from Chapman University in Southern California. Ariel's career as an actress started at an early age as she appeared on the TV show Wipeout. Ariel was in the show when she asked about the pole in front of her which she could not see her name was made famous. The interest shown by audiences in the young girl leads directors to seek out the Tweto family for the show on their lives deep within the Alaskan wilderness. Jim Tweto, her father, is skeptical, but he agrees to have the cameras rolling in his office. Era Alaska is still run by him in his capacity as a Bush pilot. Flying Wild Alaska on Discovery Channel became a hit instantly because it revealed the many challenges that the Twetos face in running their aviation business. A lot of Americans find it fascinating the fact that they live in an area that is similar to the Wild West. People who love the Twetos can rejoice in their wins along with them, and experience the pain of losing. Jim as the pilot of the bush and Ferno on the ground are never idle. Ariel has a cheerful personality throughout all this. Ariel's father, Jim, and mother Ferno both have pilot licenses, so it is only natural for Ariel to have an interest in flight from a young age. Flying Alaska, the 2011-2012 series follows Ariel through her training to become a pilot licensed. After that, she is in charge of the business of flying for her parents after their father retires. Alaskans are concerned about the suicide rate of teens as high as up to seven times more than the nation's average. Ariel's answer to this was co-founding a foundation called Popping Bubbles in which she goes around schools and other events for teens to educate them about the need for them to have a reason to live and chase their dreams, rather than turning to depression.
