Ana Maria Polo personal life
Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was raised in Havana, Cuba. Then she moved to Miami along with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is the host of the Telemundo Show "Caso Cerrado", a Spanish TV show which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was also named the top Spanish-language show at 4pm for key demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Sciences. In the following years she received her PhD qualification in law from the University of Miami. Thereafter, she obtained the PhD in Law at the University of Miami. Polo was first introduced to television audiences in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other shows on courts where the legal skills of her was showcased. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she wrote the story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to her home in the United States in 1960. Polo is a breast cancer survivor who regularly raises funds for the causes and gives speeches at parties. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights all throughout her life. Her law degree was awarded in 1987 from the University of Miami School of Law.
